DeeVA is an established Graphic Design Company. Created to fill the void which exists in the rural areas of Scotland where quality design usually takes a backseat. Where does the original DeeVA come from?
"...I started my creative career as an apprentice in a small advertising business in Windhoek, the capital of Namibia, in 1996. I thrived and learned all I could from those around me. Circumstances led to more pressure and the proverbial ‘thrown in at the deep end’ became very real. Determined not to sink, that was the time that moulded my future and gave me the drive to do more. With no formal training, I began to hone my professional skills.This came relatively easily as I had a natural source of inspiration, and I loved the work that I did. After 4 years,
I decided to uproot and brave the big bad world. I came to Scotland, and could not bring myself to leave again. This decision led me to Oban, and a company called Clunie Group Ltd.
I enjoyed my years there, but knew it was time to strike out on my own. My flair for knowing just what people want and need, sometimes without them even being aware of it, can be put to better use. So here I am, the owner (sole trader) of my own company, where I can make sure that quality is the number 1 priority. I like being proud of the work I produce and that shines through in the work I do..." Dee Rüdiger
